Teddy Bears & Friends for Adoption

 

All the works are made by own patterns, fully jointed, sewn by hand. Each of them is one-of-a-kind, which means that, even if I use the same pattern, character of the next bear is unpredictable - it can be gloomy or cheerful, different every time. You can't even be sure that it will be a boy or a girl. This is one of the reasons why I seldom work by order.

This Teddy bear is made of bright red mohair-brush, paws - of beige felt. Has five cotter pin joints to pose him. Stuffing is wood shavings of several kinds. His glass eyes are black, nose is embroidered, waxed and polished a little. Earl has his little trombone and a silk ribbon.
Earl took the First place in the Toy Section at Western Showcase Creative Arts and Crafts Competition this year, which was held during Calgary Stampede

This Teddy clown is made of several kinds of mohair - dense bright pink mohair, grey, blue and orange brush mohair. He has five cotter pin joints to pose him. Stuffing is wood shavings of several kinds. His glass eyes are amber, nose is embroidered, waxed and polished a little. A clown hat with bells, vintage collar, bells on his "outfit" make this character even brighter!
